Tongue and Groove Wood Decking
Solid pine tongue and groove decking is especially used in the construction of traditional houses such as log or post and beam homes. Our tongue and groove planks can serve as ceiling and floor between the ground and second floors in traditional solid wood construction houses.
Our decking, made from 2 ft X 6 ft planks, is beveled on the underside with square ridges on the top side of the boards. Generally installed on the first or second stories, it gives the impression when looking up at the ceiling from the ground floor that the ceiling is covered with panelling. From the second floor looking down, one sees tongue and groove pine flooring.

Kiln dried wood. All of our shipments are verified with a moisture meter to ensure that the moisture content is 8% (±2%).

|
Planks are beveled on the underside with square ridges on the top side.

|
Beveled tongue to facilitate a rapid and clean fit during installation.
|
|
|
The tongue is longer than the industry standard to ensure a stable fit during dry periods when potential shrinkage may occur.
