‘Perfection’ Pre-sanded Flooring
Not everyone wishes to get involved with finishing and installing traditional pine flooring which includes preparation, selecting and matching of individual boards. Boards are generally sold in 6-16 ft lengths that can be problematic to transport. It is also important to remember that sanding the flooring takes a certain skill and that this activity creates huge amounts of dust.
Bizier is proud to present 'Perfection', a pre-sanded pine flooring that is available in 2-5 ft lengths and 2-4 in widths, with major knots and defects removed and cracked knots filled. All that is required for installation is to nail the flooring in place (a floor stapler that can be rented from home renovation or rental centres will work perfectly). The floor is now ready to be stained (if desired) or varnished.
"Perfection" has several advantages :

Kiln dried wood. All of our shipments are verified with a moisture meter to ensure that the moisture content is 8% (±2%).

Anti-cupping grooves to minimize wood warping.
|
|
|
Micro-grooves for fasteners that permit nails or staples to rest between the tongue and groove, assuring a snug fit and easy assemblage.
|
|
|
The closed joint on the top of the assembled wood results in a perfect joint even on irregular sub-floors.
